Good morning! At this time we have no update from Comcast as to when they will be able to send crews to our area to work on the outage situation. According to their website, there are up to 1,500 customers. You may also check the status of the outage repairs on Comcast’s website.

Please note we have confirmation that Comcast is on scene at Hwy 9 and Rustic Terrace to begin work to restore services to the Blue River area. The highway will be temporarily closed while this work is taking place and we will let you know when it is back open. Thank you!

Comcast Update: Crews are up in the area working to restore service. They have addressed the down line across Hwy 9. However, they are unsure of the extent of the damage throughout the area. The only information we have at this time is service may be restored sometime tonight

The plows are out!❄️🎿🏂Significant snow has fallen over night. Please take your time and be prepared.

Plow crews are going to be taking advantage of the warm weather and begin work scraping the snow pack. As in years past, this is a messy process. They will work to ensure driveways are not blocked. They will be scrapping and conducting pushbacks over the next week.

The snow storm we’ve been anticipating has arrived. The plow crews will be out and most likely are timing out the storm so it will be a later start. Hwy 9 through Blue River has been plowed but it is winter storm conditions so plan accordingly. Stay safe and warm and limit travel

Blue River has received over a foot of snow and it’s snowing. Plows are starting out as of 4:00 this morning. Town Hall will be closed today with staff working remotely. Please stay home with no unnecessary travel advised.
