Due to the storm and the need to clean debris and downed power lines, the Needham Public Schools will extend the school day by one hour today. Students will be dismissed one hour later than their normal dismissal time.

The following streets have reopened: Great Plain Ave. at Ivy and at Greendale, and Mann Ave.

Dedham Ave. remains closed from George Aggot Rd. to South St. The Public Services Administration Building at 500 Dedham Ave. will be open but not be accessible by car. The Reservoir Trail is also closed.

Eastbound traffic from Millis to Medfield: Route 109 > Dover Road > Route 27. For westbound traffic from Medfield to Millis: Route 109 > Route 27 > Dover Road > Route 109. The river is expected to crest tomorrow morning (12/22) and recede over the next two days.

Chestnut Street is still closed at the Dover Line and will be for an extended period of time due to a leaking transformer. An excavation process needs to occur. Please adhere to the road closed signs and detours.
