Dr Edwards Dr. Camille V. Edwards presenting at the #ISA_2022 from BU Amyloidosis Center. Congratulations for a great well received talk.

(1) BMPC >10% and (2) dFLC >180 mg/L can predict event free survival after high dose melphalan and stem cell transplantation, as determined and presented in an impressive talk by Josh Gustine from BU Amyloidosis Center at the #ISA_2022.

Tracy Joshi BU Amyloidosis Center presents our data on AA amyloidosis. Largest series of 169 patients in the US with AA amyloidosis. So proud of our NP. Congratulations. Tracy Joshi #ISA_2022

Tracy Joshi sharing data on AA through a wonderful and thought-provoking presentation on Natural History and risk stratification of AA amyloidosis: a 40-year experience. eGFR < 25 and ESR > 80 predict OS while eGFR and Ferritin predict time to ESRD. #ISA_2022 BU Amyloidosis Center

The BU Amyloidosis Center AA Amyloidosis experience -AA due to inflamatory disease decreased over past 30 years -median to ESRD 5.9 yrs, median OS 6.3 yrs -high ferritin, ESR and low GFR at presentation were poor prognostic features. Tracy Joshi #ISA_2022

Proud of my colleague Tracy Joshi, a nurse practitioner at BU Amyloidosis Center, who just proved with her research talk at the international conference #ISA_2022 that not only MDs and PhDs can move the #amyloidosis field forward!
