I had to fly to South Africa from Toronto because family is extremely ill from covid. I flew via O'Hare Airport. Experience was shocking. No physical distancing at all, especially during security clearance. Many people not wearing masks or not wearing them properly! O'Hare Intl. Airport

I had 2 fly 2 South Africa from Toronto because family is extremely ill from covid. I flew Qatar Airways from Chicago to Doha. Experience was shocking. Flight 100% booked, seats very close together, passengers not wearing masks properly. Stuck in tube for 13 hours! Shameful!

WATCH: BC organic dairy farm exposed on camera for brutal beatings of cows, and ripping baby calves away from their mothers. The farm is under investigation by the BC SPCA / BCSPCA, but these issues are systemic and deep. We need surveillance cameras on farms. ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=2…

What is the distribution of mammals on Earth? The dominance of humans is clear: Human biomass is almost 10x greater than wild mammals. The same is true for the cattle we raise (10x wild mammals). Learn more about biodiversity + how humans are shaping it ourworldindata.org/biodiversity

This graph’s salience is evergreen. If you dislike soy, monocultures, etc., the animal feed industry should be the target of your ire. 37% of global soy goes toward chicken feed.
