Last week we told a transport company their policy discriminated against disabled people, and demanded they change it. If you've spotted something unfair, been turned down for a Blue Badge, or want to share your campaign, get in touch 🔗 transportforall.org.uk/your-rights/ho…

We told Disability News Service why we're furious that disabled people are being excluded from self driving vehicles. Equal access to transport allows us to be part of society. If technology is allowed to develop without disabled people, it will only deepen inequality.

New plans for cuts aim to divide past and future disabled people. Our community refuses #TwoTierKier For many of us, without Pip, there's no transport. Don't take away our independence.

71% of disabled people want to use more sustainable modes of transport, but face needless barriers such as overcrowding, missing announcements and a lack of lifts. Public transport must be accessible, so we can all make choices about how to travel.

PIP supports us to have access to transport and live with dignity. These cuts will devastate our community and plunge more people into poverty. #WelfareNotWarefare *NB: site may not be accessible.

The Government wants to cut PIP — a lifeline for disabled people. These changes are cruel and would devastate our community. PIP means independence, dignity, and access to transport. Tell your MP: NO to PIP cuts 📷transportforall.org.uk/take-action/te…

We should all be able to travel easily, but only 3% of disabled people say they can do so without advance planning - we're held back by systems that just don’t work for us. It’s time to make the UK’s transport truly accessible to everyone. 👨‍🦼🧑‍🦯🧏‍♀️🐕‍🦺

The Government may have passed a bill this evening, but we have shown that our disabled community is powerful, united, and will not let inequality win.

We all need to get around, but in the UK many disabled people like us are blocked from travelling because of large gaps and steps between the train and the platform. Level boarding solves that issue, so stations are more accessible to everyone - accessibility should be standard.
