Declan O’hare looking for indy ball opportunity. Declan started training with Ben Brewster in September at 6’4” 210lbs and now 6’4” 240lbs, moving better than ever and is sitting around 90 in pens and up to 91. 2/24-2/28 with TM Data.

An overlooked key for creating separation is trunk posture at landing. 🔑 The spine will give you more motion during the rotation phase when in a relatively stacked position. If the pelvis and spine are already jammed in end ranges (especially uphill or in extension), rotation

What is the "sync"?🤔 The "sync" is that sudden feeling like your delivery is connected or "clicks," even though, on video, the positions are virtually identical. It occurs when a pitcher stops feeling their delivery in isolated pieces, and it begins to flow like one unified

Why hip-shoulder separation is a misnomer, and how it's created.💡 Separation actually refers to the pelvis and trunk separating. Positive separation can be created from: ✅The pelvis rotating underneath a neutral trunk ✅The trunk counter-rotating ✅A combination of the two💪

An overlooked component of hip-shoulder separation: Timing.⏲️ The closer to foot plant, and ideally a hair after foot plant, the better. The lead leg becomes a gas pedal that provides an impulse to the pelvis, creating that final, well-timed stretch-and-fire.

Perhaps the mentally toughest parts of development: 1) Consistently eating enough to gain weight (for hard-gainers). 2) Coming back from an extended injury (6-12+ month rehabs). These test you off the field too, and make games, lifting, and bullpens seem like the easy part.

Congrats to our Tread Athlete of the Week Brandon Bak 🏆 Bak pitched a gem, throwing only 82 pitches to complete a no-hitter. He worked closely with Matt Jordan to get and stay healthy. Bak's hard work has certainly paid off! 📈 #TreadFam

Obliques, similar to hamstrings, are notoriously tricky to rehab, and can easily be re-aggravated if rushed into throwing too soon. There is a rapid 3-dimensional loading of these tissues into landing and torso acceleration, making it difficult to mimic in the weight room.

"Will that play?" 🤔 @Craigstem breaks down how Josh Roberson can get gloveside movement with the cutter at 90+ mph without yanking the pitch.

Aroldis Chapman hit 103.8 mph as a 37-year-old last night. 👀 So how old will he be, and how hard will he likely be throwing when he finally retires? 🤔
