Billy Wagner has been elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in his 10th and final time on. the ballot. He cruised in with 82.5% of votes. Wagner was the forebear for the current generation of relievers: a hard-throwing, strikeout-loving, tough-to-hit beast of a closer.
