Tetra Pak printing techniques were the focus of our Y10 Artist Workshops, led by local artist Karen Wicks. During the full-day workshops, pupils learnt about the intricate printmaking process and created skillful prints with beautiful mark making and surface details. #GoFurther

Over 200 of our talented performers took to the Albert Hall stage last night for our Annual Spring Concert, playing movie inspired music. All Year 7 pupils formed a mass choir before joining our Choral Society and Chamber Choir for A Little Jazz Mazz. #GoFurther #trentmusic

Congratulations to our team on winning the ‘Team Maths Challenge’. Competing against 20 other schools, Dillan, Abbey, Edward & Matthew were tested on speed, accuracy and strategy. After winning the heat, the team have qualified for the national final in London. #GoFurther

Academic scholars in Y11-13 enjoyed a lecture from Prof Bill Lockley, an internationally recognised scientist and lecturer at Surrey University. His research on using isotopes to solve scientific problems provided students with a thought provoking Friday lunchtime lecture.

The Devonshire Library was packed with writing talent for our Celebration Story Evening. 336 children from local primary schools entered our nature-themed short story competition and 31 finalists met children’s author Darren Simpson, to hear his tips and be awarded with prizes.

Our well-established cricket programme continues to deliver outstanding success across all age groups. Congratulations to our U13 indoor cricket team, who have retained the County Cup. Their victory was matched by the U15s, who also showed incredible skill to win their final.
