Numa, by Merry-Joseph Blondel. King Numa Pompilius, who succeeded Romulus as the second King of Rome, is in many ways the father of Roman religion. Tradition holds that he studied under Pythagoras. In fact, he lived generations earlier.

Folks, I give you the man, the myth, the greatest Roman admiral ever: Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa. He now sits on a shelf between my trireme and Neptune. (In a happy accident, it looks like the trident-bearer is giving Agrippa his blessing.) Thanks to Michael McGill πŸ›. Great work!
