Elderly pt referred for AF ablation, severe MR on TEE, CT severe MAC. Canceled PVI got CT Sx opinion & they said no to MVR due to severe MAC as they can have complete A&V dissociation anatomically during surgery. Thx for sharing, heard about this issue now seeing it.
