Don’t pay to get published. Don’t pay for book reviews. Real agents won’t charge you a cent. Real publishers don’t make you pay for anything. Don’t submit to markets that don’t pay.

I use word ro read my book back to me. That way I am sure that I dont read it aloud the way I intended it to sound, rather than the way I actually typed it out. That is ussually my 3rd draft.

Huge thanks! to those that have helped me by downloading a FREE kindle copy of Killcode. It has been a record download of the ebook for me. Thank you for your support!

I started a shotlist this morning for a short film. I'm going to turn my book Killcode into a film. My next step is to storyboard the shots. I think my shooting budget is a generous 100 bucks, because it's a phone film. Heads up, I already have lights, a few gimbals, tascam.

Have we created a culture, in social media, where we no longer celebrate each other's victories? But instead lie in wait just to take advantage of each other?

I need a win. Not a big one, just a small win. Because I've been losing everything for so long, but I just keep trudging on. There's not even light at the end of the tunnel. Its just the abstract wonder of how far can I get until I can't go any more.

In horror, I find I have to change tone of my work to get the full effect. Start light, and gradually get darker. Then later, lighten to give hope, then get truly dark. I discovered this in Killcode (scifi) but used it better in Seance House. Do you change tone ?

I had no idea that the kindle books that I gave away still pay on pages read. Wow just when you think you know how the system works.
