My one wish for state XC — fence along the running course. Don’t take this the wrong way, fans, but you aren’t great at state XC. By the hundreds, they run through the competitors to get to the next spot. Saw a girl on crutches today hop out in front of runners, about collide.

Started the day celebrating a 3A state XC title. End the night celebrating a trip to the 4A football state quarterfinals. Not bad, Tigers. Not bad at all.

I covered some amazing, amazing RB’s over 20+ years at Webster City, many of them first-team all-staters. But I never watched/covered a 2,000-yard RB until this season. It’s been an incredible run that’s not over yet.

At the state cheer competition and I’m prepared. -IPad ✅ -Anker portable battery ✅ AirPods ✅ A 3-minute routine, followed by 3 hours before awards = hello Iowa game.
