We were delighted to welcome our new Year 7s to taster days ahead of them starting at Truro School this September. These days allow pupils to gradually get to know each other and gain familiarity with the school, staff and routines so they can hit the ground running in September.

As a part of our transition programme, our Year 2 pupils got a flavour of a Year 3 lunch as they experienced self-service in the Dining Room last week. Pupils in the Pre-Prep all have help with their meal, but as they enter Year 3, have the autonomy to serve their own lunch.

Truro School proudly welcomed Team Bath Netball for coaching sessions for our girls aged 9–16. The event was led by guest coaches, Daisy Harrison, a defender in the Team Bath Next Gen squad, and Old Truronian Amelia Grigg (CO14), now Head Coach of the Truro Development Centre.

As a part of their MFL (modern foreign languages) learning, our Year 5 Truro School Prep pupils took a trip to the Senior School to make delicious Magdalenas from scratch. These sessions broaden the children's horizons in Spanish, and give them confidence in the kitchen.

Toasts were given and everyone was in an egg-cellent mood as our Year 6 pupils invited their parents and carers in for a very special end-of-year breakfast. After a delicious feast in the sunshine, pupils proudly shared their maths diploma work from the Careers Fair last week.
