🔥PANTS ON FIRE #1! Activists claim PA's Act 12 increases purchase prices and rates. The truth: Necessary capital investments in infrastructure to keep water safe and service reliable are the main factor pushing rates higher, not acquisition purchases. truthfromthetap.com/watch-out-pant…

Do the math! Acquisition purchases only account for about one-eighth (that’s just 12%) of PA American’s current rate filing! The rest are operational, administrative, and reliability improvement costs!

🔥PANTS ON FIRE #3! Activists try to make erroneous rate comparisons. The truth: All experts warn against these rate comparisons because they disregard important factors like investment, safety, quality and reliability. truthfromthetap.com/watch-out-pant…

🔥PANTS ON FIRE #4! Activists claim distressed systems are not benefiting from Act 12. The truth: There’s a long list of distressed systems in PA that have benefitted – Shenandoah, Cheltenham, New Garden, McKeesport, Exeter. Should we keep on going? truthfromthetap.com/watch-out-pant…

Why work with a regulated, private water company? Because independent regulatory oversight provides transparency and protects consumers.

Firsthand account about importance of infrastructure investment: "What we saw around us with some of our neighboring cities...that were having real problems with their water systems because they had not made the investment to keep them running at the highest level.”
