First full week into command. Spent the last week in discussions about battle rhythm and operations. Ended the weekend with a brainstorming session with EOD CSM. Tomorrow is command maintenance and I am looking forward to working on Bartholdi (yes I named my vehicle).

Saw this art on the ceiling in a building in Chicago. Thought it was beautiful until I got close and realized it was art made of dog tags for every service member (of our country) that fell in the Vietnam War.

In a different time zone overseas. Woke up at 0300 for a VTC and found out it was postponed to another day. I will reframe it as a rehearsal! Needed to do some work that takes undivided attention anyway. False start- feel like this rabbit this morning.

It’s been a while since I posted! Had a great day of engagements in DC advocating, catching up and opening my mind.

My son just hooked us up with tickets to an event (we paid) because of his connections! We paid but it was “sold out”. It made him happy:)

So proud of the team. We are only strong as our weakest link and that link is tight!
