Wonderful to meet with Jane and Roger from The Turning Tides Project and discuss the challenges faced by people with a learning disability or autism, including access to public transport, housing and employment. They do extraordinary work here in Crediton. melstridemp.com/news/turning-t…

Our national attention getting #haf holiday activity and food programme is back for #devonhaf2023 with an intensive focus on Crediton and around. In partnership with Crediton Town Clerk & The Turning Tides Project we are hosting ‘Rythmn in the Roots’ from Four Mills over 4 days at Easter.

Congratulations to our latest Youth Music Catalyser funded partners. Their projects will enable children and young people to make, learn and earn in music. Thanks to Arts Council England & National Lottery Good Causes for making this work possible! 📷: My Pockets bit.ly/3UOJoMU

Making community spaces accessible for all is part of what #CommunityRail members do, so great to visit The Turning Tides Project tea room at #Crediton to see the new fully accessible eco-aware toilet. Glad to work with Devon & Cornwall Rail Partnership RailwayHeritageTrust & GWR on this. Yummy scones too!

Very Wet today in #Crediton, but a warm welcome at The Turning Tides Project for the official opening of the refurbished tea room. Community Rail Network GWR RailwayHeritageTrust funded it. (1) I opened the accessible toilet, (2) I ate all the scones (Only one of these is true!) #CommunityRail

I’ve wanted to visit the project we supported at Crediton for some time so it was great to be there today and learn about all the great work in the community by The Turning Tides Project . We helped fund an ordinary and an accessible toilet.

There is so much at Crediton to enthuse about but perhaps the best thing is the synergy between The Turning Tides Project and The Friends of Crediton Station to create a whole that leaves no part of the station uncared for and builds pride in the town itself.

Great work from Keir & The Turning Tides Project promoting inclusion, health & wellness. And a big shout out to Keir for squeezing in the unprompted Frank Turner lyric at the end #bemorekind ❤️Down's Syndrome Association DownsEd UK Sally Phillips open.spotify.com/episode/40aV8r…
