TWRI program specialist Suboor Rahmany is working with Post Oak Savannah GCD, as well as landowners and farmers, to install real-time soil moisture sensors to inform irrigation planning and scheduling decisions. Multiple sensors have already been installed, with more to follow soon.




The Water Resources Advancement Program RFP for FY 2026-2027 is open. This program focuses on key areas of water resources. Proposals are due July 5 & must include at least one researcher from Texas A&M AgriLife Research, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, & @TEES. Details and application: buff.ly/nU7TjjS.
