In knowing Brandon Colpitts, I’m glad that he’ll remain on as a volunteer assistant coach. He’s built up a nice rapport with the student-athletes at Central and he’ll make the transition a smooth one for an incoming head coach. #SDPreps

Here are a few snaps from the latest Battle at the Ballpark between Post 22 Baseball and the Post 320 Stars. The Hardhats improved to 15-1-1, while the Stars dipped down to 6-8. The full story from Jackson Reyes is scheduled for first thing tomorrow morning. #SDLegion

We had a lot of good, local content in Thursday's edition of the RCJ. This time, I have to offer a sneak peek at B2. I wrote features on Black Hills State Athletics' Braden Anderson and South Dakota Mines Track & Field and Cross Country's Cole Dobberstein. They'll both compete at the #D2MOTF this weekend in Pueblo, Colorado.

.South Dakota Mines Track & Field and Cross Country’s Cole Dobberstein will race in the 400-meter hurdles at 7:55 p.m. tonight. He’s in the third heat of the event. If he makes it to the top eight, he’ll race again at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday. #TheHardrockLife #D2MOTF ⬇️ Check out the full story below. ⬇️

.Black Hills State XC/TF junior Braden Anderson started at Colorado Mesa, stepped away from college, returned to intercollegiate athletics, acclimated and is now competing in the 800-meter run at the #D2MOTF championships. Braden races in the prelims at 6:35 p.m. on Friday. #ClimbTheHills

.Jackson Reyes and I teamed up for a few 📸 at the West River Last Chance meet. Jackson took care of the action inside O’Harra Stadium, while I camped by the King Center for javelin and discus. #SDPreps ⬇️ Check out the gallery below! ⬇️
