Approx 10th November 1983. Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. The Edge on a yacht! Behind him, the Diamond Head cone. U2 played Honolulu on 16th Nov. During the soundcheck, Edge would create the riff which developed into "Pride". A week later the band played their first gigs in Japan #U2

30th April 1985. Jacksonville Memorial Coliseum, Florida, USA. Bono meeting fans pre-gig. Photo by Jason A. Smith. The 10,276 seat arena was torn down in 2003 and a new venue (Veterans Memorial Arena) was built nearby. The coliseum site is now a car-park for the nearby stadium

16th March 1983. Tyne-Tees Studio 5, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. "The Tube" was a huge UK music TV show from 82-87. #U2 appeared on it & had a close relationship with its producers. The Red Rocks gig was a co-production. The Studio is now demolished. Watch: youtu.be/xQhab8Z0qIU?si…
