Today we used our ‘Map skills’ to walk to Healey Dell Viaduct - how wonderful to have such a beautiful place close to school. We looked at the structure of the bridge as this is part of our DT this term. Wholesome day had by all 🌎🌳🍃☘️🌿

We had some interesting visitors today at St Patrick’s 🐢🦎🦗 The children enjoyed handling some rainforest animals in link with our Geography and English unit. We had plenty of fun but I think most of us are glad they didn’t stay the night🐍

Finally back online!👏 before the holidays we had the Year 5 Christmas choir who blessed us with their angelic voices, what an amazing turn out! We went to the pantomime and watched a fantastic play, more recently we have enjoyed our visits to our church and our rock day

The children have enjoyed making their very own doodlers in DT! They have explored the different electrical components and their functions and investigated what would be the best way to make their doodler, a lot of trial and error but all successful in the end, well done!
