The UCLA Easton Center for Alzheimer's Research & Care joined APAHC and the South Asian Network (SAN) to share Alzheimer's resources and provide free dementia screenings at SAN's Community Health Fair. More than 100 people attended the event and learned how they can improve their brain health!


Congrats to Monica Moore for 10 years of service! Monica is most proud of her work in dementia education within diverse communities. She grew the UCLA Easton Center for Alzheimer's Research & Care caregiver support groups while building strong connections with patients, families, & the LA Alzheimer's community.


A sincere thank you to Dr. Tirth Patel of UCLA Neurology UCLA Health for presenting at the recent Brain-Health Education and Advocacy Movement (BEAM) meeting! Club members gained invaluable insights into #dementia and #Alzheimers, from cutting-edge diagnosis to treatment options.

Easton Center staff was delighted to attend the 5/17 Philippine Nurses Assoc. of SoCal Education Day to share info on UCLA Neurology UCLA Healthās Amyloid Immunotherapy Care Program & #Alzheimerās warning signs with PNASC members. UCLA School of Nursing faculty also presented at the event.

Ā Information on #Alzheimerās disease, brain health, clinical trials, & the services UCLA Health provides in the SFV was shared with over 300 attendees.


On May 15th, the Annual Faith & Health Luncheon was co-sponsored by West Angeles Church, @alzheimersla, and UCLA Easton Center for Alzheimer's Research & Care. Her journey in #AlzheimersDisease education began at Alzheimer's Association and has been shaped by the caregivers, doctors, and communities sheās served ever since.


On June 14ā15, Nancy, Sam, and Dr. Chang from the Easton Center UCLA Neurology UCLA Health shared resources on memory, aging, and #Alzheimer's warning signs at the LA Gamelan Festival, held at the Indonesian Consulate in LA. The event celebrated Indonesian music, arts, and food.
