The emergence of COVID-19 created a global health crisis and impacted children and families, disproportionately affecting minoritized communities. Simultaneously, protests and anti-racist uprisings against police violence occurred worldwide.

At the UCLA Pritzker Center, we believe research begins in the community. Last year, the Pritzker Center collaborated with @valleyoasis and Lancaster DCFS to conduct community-based research about the dynamics of domestic violence in child welfare.
