Our new study Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases evaluating the 1st presentation of ASCVD in 1' prev: - Most common first event was death/resusc cardiac arrest (27.7%) - CAC>0 a/w 173% increased risk for 1st presentation of death/RCA - CAC improved risk prediction for death/RCA on top of the PCE

Our new study <a href="/PCVDJournal/">Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases</a> evaluating the 1st presentation of ASCVD in 1' prev:

- Most common first event was death/resusc cardiac arrest (27.7%)
- CAC&gt;0 a/w 173% increased risk for 1st presentation of death/RCA
- CAC improved risk prediction for death/RCA on top of the PCE
