Staff in Goldsmiths College, UoL, were told yesterday their employer wanted to make 𝟭𝟯𝟬 academic FTE staff redundant (i.e. >130 staff, as many are part-time). Our union @UCU thinks this could equal 𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 of all academic staff! ❤️Rush solidarity to Goldsmiths UCU!

Went to Palestine Camp at SOAS. Students held a moving tribute to journalist Shireen Abu Alekh on anniversary of her murder by IDF. I attended her commemoration service 2 years ago as Secretary of the NUJ Parliamentary Group. Now 140 journalists bern killed in Gaza since October.
