Today, The School District of Palm Beach County athletic trainers and directors received education about properly managing youth athlete concussions. This education is vital to ensuring our ADs and ATCs remain the first line of defense to keep youth athletes safe in high school sports. 💪

Very sad and unexpected news. Jason Jenkins' leadership made Miami Dolphins Foundation & Community Relations champions for a unified South Florida community; a catalyst working to "support real change." Our staff extend our deepest condolences.

The UConcussion program will forever be indebted to Jason Jenkins of the Miami Dolphins. We are deeply saddened by his passing and grateful for all the years of friendship and support of the Countywide Concussion Care Program.

We are grateful to Miami-Dade Schools and Miami Dolphins Foundation & Community Relations for supporting the Countywide Concussion Care program, now a decade strong. It is thanks to the enduring legacy of the late Jason Jenkins that this program continues, ensuring all public high school athletes get baseline tested.

Congratulations to Jacob Griffin, UConcussion’s very first research fellow! Jacob was just accepted to UM Medical School, where he’ll begin in fall 2023, following his fellowship here. Thanks to him, a decade of our concussion surveillance data has been streamlined for research.
