Dr. Paul van Donkelaar, a clinical neuroscientist from UBC and co-founder of SOAR, gave an excellent talk on brain injuries from IPV in women

Dr. Lian Troncoso shared his work in neuroinflammatory markers amongst former athletes with repetitive head impacts: associations with cognitive function and white matter hyperintensity volume

Thank you Dr. John Leddy, a sports medicine physician at the University of Buffalo, for giving a presentation on aerobic exercise treatment for sports-related concussions

Two great poster presentations from our morning session, one on the affects of driving in mTBI, and the other on building awareness and service provider capacity for IPV brain injuries

Master’s student, Davina Premraj, presented her findings on a retrospective study of sex and age differences in older patients with concussions

Samaneh Chaychi did a wonderful job presenting sex differences in concussion incidence before and during the COVID-19 pandemic

Poster presentations from this afternoon on enhancing compassion care, and simplifying resource needs for people with brain injuries
