Do you have a post-ICU recovery clinic in your practice? How is it structured? Many different models were found in this review by Dr. Bakhru and colleagues! pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35291316/

Pulm PEEPs don’t you hate it when you leave food on the counter and your #PleuralDog tries to eat it? Nasty example of an #empyema with pleural thickening. #PleuralZoo #LungPocus photo credit to Israel Acosta Sanchez uic_pccm

The newest addition to the #PleuralZoo? The coral reef! Note the plankton sign showing some cells floating and the hyperechoic nature of the fluid suggesting an exudative effusion. The pleura is also thickened - ⬆️ing the probability of a malignant effusion - which this was.
