Our Policy Advisor Kate Adams reported earlier that 3 farms in the south of 🇸🇰 have reported FMD close to the 🇭🇺 border. Last week the 🇭🇺 Prime Minister’s office outlined that the disease appeared to be contained.

Yellow-legged Asian hornets in the UK in 2024 were largely in south east England. Jersey reports spikes in queen hornets found depending on wind direction. Recent mild weather, with southerly and easterly winds, could assist hornets to fly the channel Please stay vigilant.
