Exciting news to share from OLSP in partnership with Fiona Sheriff π¨βπ©βπ§βπ§π & the UK Polar Network! πΊοΈ Through an S1 competition, Hollie in 1C created an amazing flag design for Antarctica, which has now made it all the way to St Andrewβs Bay on board the Sir David Attenborough Ship!π§π³οΈ

Our flag has arrived in Antarctica! Congratulations #BGSYr13 #Geographers who created this flag at the end of their Antarctica unit. Annabel M in year 7 completed her Antarctica flag last year. It was then taken to the Rothera Research station by Pati Glaz, a marine biologist with the British Antarctic Survey. Pati will be over-wintering at Rothera while it is 24 hours of darkness! UK Polar Network @Fiona_616
