In London to discuss how to meet increasing humanitarian needs. UK is an important partner to World Food Programme and a thought-leader on food security. We agreed on the need to invest more in prevention and work with local communities to strengthen resilience.


The situation in Gaza is intolerable. With winter setting in, it’s vital that more aid gets in. At the Gaza Humanitarian Conference I announced more support for UNRWA World Food Programme and UN Humanitarian. We urgently need a ceasefire, the release of all hostages and an end to the suffering.
