What would Mountain Rescue do? Carry your walking poles – don’t leave them behind. As well as security on uneven ground, they’re a huge help on stream crossings. This time of year can be the best of British walking. #BeAdventureSmart and make your good day even better.

Longer days and birdsong tempt us to the mountains, hills and coast. Before you walk, paddle or ride into spring, #BeAdventureSmart and: - assess your fitness and brush up your skills - spring weather can be fickle - be weather wise - think about your gear.
