Congratulations Lisa! You did an amazing job! 🥳 Thank you for always being my more senior CPH Bioscience PhD student to go to when I had questions and needed advice. 😊

Our latest work on replication-independent repair of DNA-protein crosslinks is online. Great collaboration with the Niels Mailand Lab and Nielsen Lab! 🧫🐸🧬 embopress.org/doi/full/10.15…

Thank you to @stingele_lab and Zhao-Qi Wang for organizing the fantastic DGDR-KRUPP Symposium in Jena and letting me represent the Duxin lab. I had a blast!

I'm happy to announce that I successfully defended my PhD thesis: "Mechanisms of DNA-protein crosslink signaling and proteolysis" this past Friday. It was a great experience. Thanks to everyone who was there to celebrate the day with me!👩🏻‍🎓 #PhD #PhDdefense #PhDone

RepliFate is already up and running. Stay tuned for the launching of our website in a couple of weeks where we will advertise the recruitment of 12 predoctoral researchers to work in a very exciting network about DNA replication, cell identity and cancer. Spread the word!

Incredibly sad news! While I did my PhD at CPR, it has become part of my identity as a researcher. Being surrounded by excellent and driven researchers and their amazing science has shaped me so much and I couldn't be more thankful for the time I got to spend at CPR!

🧪 New paper out from the Julien Duxin! Here, we describe a PARP1-dependent mechanism of DNA-protein crosslink repair, featuring some of the work I did on the protease DDI2 during my PhD. Great job Zita Fábián! 🐸🧬 nature.com/articles/s4146…
