This week's Throwback Thursday focuses on Code MK based in Bletchley Milton Keynes. Completed in May 2023 this new build two-unit site held a strong sustainability initiative achieving a BREEAM status of “Excellent” and an EPC rating of A.

This week's Throwback Thursday focusses on DPD's parcel sorting centre at Eurocentral Motherwell which was completed in June 2018. UMC Architects have taken a lead role in the evolution of this 'satellite hub' template DPD building design which has been rolled out across the UK.

Happy Throwback Thursday. Located in Worksop near the A1, UMC Architects were responsible for the site Masterplan including site infrastructure, detailed design & operational fit out of the 541,685 sqft Unit for DHL which includes a clear internal height of 18m & 28m high bay.

This week's Throwback Thursday focuses on Deer Park Road at Moulton Park, Northampton. The 2.49 acre site comprises 9 units ranging in size from 3,560 to 16,860 sq ft and follows the WD.BOXHUB template. UMC were responsible for architectural design from inception to completion.

Today's Throwback Thursday looks back at Stanton Cross Industrial Park Wellingborough. Phase 1 completed in spring 2022 & consists of 2 units. Phase 2 completed in July 2023 consists of 1 single unit. UMC were responsible for architectural design from inception to completion.

Following last month's Planet Mark Certification Y2, UMC Architects are delighted to announce the successful renewal of both ISO9001 and ISO14001 accreditation across our 3 offices in Newark, Manchester & London. A huge thanks to Stephen and Rachel for coordinating the audit.

Following another successful BSI Audit UMC Architects are pleased to announce the recertification of our BIM Design and Construction Kite Mark. The Kitemark demonstrates our systems compliance with BS EN ISO 19650 and our implementation of the standard across a range of projects.
