I’m excited to announce that Cheta D. Akaluka and I received the Promoting Black Flourishing Student Fund from the University of Manitoba to facilitate a 1 day symposium tagged EcoEmpower through our organizations Sustainability For ME and Impact Leaders Connect.

The goal of the event is to empower black students to emerge as influential leaders who champion environmental stewardship and social responsibility. We will be having a keynote address by Minister Tracy Schmidt, and an engaging panel discussion.

Also, we will be having two workshop sessions on human centered design and networking. The event will be holding at 118 Freedman Cresent, Asper Business School, University of Manitoba. We will be starting by 9am. To RSVP, kindly click on this form - bit.ly/EcoEmpower.
