Policy in action!🏛️ Six committees of प्रतिनिधि सभा नेपाल House of Representative Nepal convened to reaffirm the role of federal lawmakers in disaster preparedness and response. This engagement, under EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺-funded SUPER project led by UNDP, strengthens efforts to build resilience at the sub-national level.

A provincial consultation on Early Warning for All was held with stakeholders from Gandaki and Lumbini provinces to assess early warning systems and strengthen coordination. UNDP in Nepal is supporting NDRRMA in developing hazard monitoring and forecasting under Pillar 2.

As part of a cross-learning session, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), World Vision International Nepal & Dundum Solutions Group visited UN House to explore the work of UNDP in Nepal & UNV Nepal on SDGs, socio-economic development, HDI, and volunteerism. Collaborative learnings like this strengthen our collective mission.
