At State House Kenya, Nairobi, launched the Shirika Plan, a landmark initiative that integrates refugees with host communities in our country. This will upgrade our refugee management, shifting from humanitarian dependency to a more inclusive and progressive development model




The US 🇺🇸 remains a key donor for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, ensuring vital support for refugees & their hosts in Kenya 🇰🇪 and beyond. Today, Filippo Grandi met Chargé d’Affaires Marc Dillard to discuss Kenya’s leadership in refugee inclusion and the Shirika Plan’s shift toward long-term solutions.
