6-year-old Binyamin enjoys a cool cup of water, straight from the new water tap in his village! Through the PooledFunds_OCHA UNICEF is rehabilitating 4 water supply systems in Badghis, which will restore clean water to the community for 16,380 people.


"I love my class and my classmates," says Fatema, grade 3. "I learned to read and write here. I want to be a teacher just like mine." Our collaboration with EU Humanitarian Aid | Asia-Pacific 🇪🇺 supports 9,500 children like Fatema in community-based education classes around the country."

When Kareema was born, no health workers were there to help her mother with the delivery. Kareema became a midwife so others wouldn't face the same. In partnership with Asian Development Bank, UNICEF provides Kareema and her clinic with training and supplies so more mothers can deliver safely.
