Energized by meeting community elders in remote Lokakipi, Tapac Subcounty, Karamoja region. They were proud of their contribution in decreasing FGM/C to isolated cases. We also discussed using their voice in discouraging early marriage, teenage pregnancy & keeping girls in school

Every child deserves safety and education—not exploitation. Through the CLEAR Supply Chains Project, and with support from International Labour Organization, International Trade Centre (ITC), Food and Agriculture Organization & funding from EU International Partnerships 🇪🇺, we’re tackling child labour at its roots in Uganda’s coffee sector. 👉 bit.ly/3GgTWBo

On my return at Lokodiokodio Primary School in Napak District I saw renewed hope. Thanks to Embassy of Sweden in Kampala support, who enabled essential supplies like beds, storage cases, soap, & sanitary wear among others—children once living on Kampala’s streets now learn, play & thrive safely.
