Ahead of #WorldDrugDay, with support from Special Trust Fund for Afghanistan, a 5-day clinical training was held in Kabul on pharmacological treatment of substance use disorders. 24 doctors & nurses from Drug Treatment Centers in Logar, Ghazni, Paktia & Kabul enhanced their evidence-based care skills.


To mark #WorldRefugeeDay, UNHCR, UNODC Afghanistan, AWCCI, & APBHO opened the INSAF Womenās Center in Kabul. The center will help women turn ideas into sustainable businesses. "The center is a space where women feel safe, seen, & empowered," said Arafat Jamal, UNHCR Rep in Afghanistan.


Ahead of #WorldDrugDay, UNODC Afghanistan invited #AlternativeDevelopment MSMEs and vocational skills programme beneficiaries to join a week-long bazaar at UNOCA, organized by UNAMA ā a strong step toward promoting licit livelihoods and supporting recovery.
