On 25–26 May, UN Office on Drugs & Crime & National Counter Terrorism Centre - Maldives held a workshop in Thulusdhoo to empower local stakeholders in operationalising 🇲🇻 National Action Plan on P/CVE at the island level. 16 community leaders & CSOs worked together to advance community-based prevention of violent extremism. 🙏🇯🇵

On 28–29 May, UN Office on Drugs & Crime & National Counter Terrorism Centre - Maldives continued efforts to localise Maldives’ National Action Plan on P/CVE with a 2nd workshop in Fuvahmulah. The event strengthened the capacities of 17 local actors to advance grassroots strategies to prevent #ViolentExtremism. 🙏🇯🇵
