We are open for business in our new home! Our first customer Scott Cohen Dr Scott Cohen has been collecting data since Tuesday. Arctica is fully operational and passed spec with flying colors. Molecular Horizons @ UOW Microscopy & Spectroscopy
Great job by the Molecular Horizons @ UOW and Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute teams supporting the local health community.
The Krios has arrived on site! A beautiful winter day here in Wollongong for the move. Molecular Horizons @ UOW Microscopy & Spectroscopy
Now settled into our new building, we benchmarked our Talos Arctica. With 86 micrographs collected (76 used), we got to 2.5 Å with 25 k particles in cryoSPARC, our new Arctica record! Molecular Horizons @ UOW Microscopy & Spectroscopy Structura Biotechnology
At the end of a big week, the FEG went on. A few tense faces, but it all went great. Now pumping down to be ready to get all tuned up. These Thermo engineers are amazing! Molecular Horizons @ UOW Microscopy & Spectroscopy
Just over a week after arrival in Wollongong UOW the Krios is now fully operational at Molecular Horizons Molecular Horizons Cryo-EM Molecular Horizons @ UOW. It passed the first image tests with flying colours, and we are looking forward to seeing what it can do!
I am excited to share with you this new #MicroED study which will undoubtedly change the way GPCR structures are determined. Many congratulations to Mike Martynowycz and our collaborators Vadim Cherezov & @NannengaLab biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
