Just over a week after arrival in Wollongong UOW the Krios is now fully operational at Molecular Horizons Molecular Horizons Cryo-EM Molecular Horizons @ UOW. It passed the first image tests with flying colours, and we are looking forward to seeing what it can do!

High defocus does not attenuate high-resolution components.🌞 An excellent study by Bob Glaeser and colleagues.🤩 For good samples (many particles, homogeneous) don't jump on the defocus knob yet. Processing of high defocus data is still more demanding. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
