On 4/1, our Buffalo Station agents encountered Wilmer Orlando CANALES-NAJERA, an illegal alien from Honduras. When approached, CANALES-NAJERA assaulted one of our agents and attempted to flee. He was later apprehended and will be processed for deportation with felony charges.

On 4/3 Niagara Falls agents arrested an illegal alien from Ecuador that was previously ordered removed but did not leave the U.S. and will now be processed for removal. Our agents work night and day with vigilance and dedication to duty to keep our communities safe!

On 4/3 Oswego Station agents arrested Jimenez-Coy GUADALUPE in Macedon, NY. He is an illegal alien from Mexico now charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm - a felony! Our agents are working hard to keep our streets safe!

On 4/4, Buffalo Station agents arrested Islay MARRERO-RAMIREZ, an illegal alien from Cuba. He is a felon and a convicted child predator that will now be removed from our streets and deported back home. Our agents are on the frontlines protecting America!

During #PoliceWeek we honor our fallen. Border Patrol Inspector Frank Vidmar, Jr. is the only Buffalo Sector agent to die in the line of duty. He died at the age of 30, on March 24, 1932 from injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident while chasing “rum runners.”

On May 20, Buffalo and Niagara Falls agents provided support in the transportation of 17 illegal aliens. They were apprehended throughout Buffalo and Swanton Sectors and held at Buffalo Station before being transported to a designated holding facility. #BorderPatrol #CBP
