Ramey Sector USBP Agents and HSI seized approximately 315 pounds of cocaine after the Puerto Rico Police Department Maritime Unit (FURA) recovered suspicious bundles floating near the shoreline of Cabo Rojo. The seized narcotics were turned over to DEA for further investigation.

On Tuesday, USBP agents partnered with Puerto Rico PD and the Caribbean Strike Force (CCSF) to intercept a small vessel near Vega Baja, PR, arresting two Dominican nationals and one U.S. citizen. Agents seized 32 bricks of cocaine (83.89 lbs) from a 20-ft Yola-type vessel.
