#UPDATE USCG Air Station Kodiak HC-130 Hercules aircrew searched the area between Nome and White Mountain with negative results. A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew is en route to the location from Cold Bay.

#UPDATE 4 Yesterday, tug Garth Foss took over the tow of the Morning Midas (350 mi SW Adak) & is controlling vessel’s movement awaiting arrival of long-range towing vessel in about a week. No signs of smoke, flames, flooding, or pollution.
