We specialize in diffusion MRI, which maps brain microstructure and connectivity by tracking water diffusion. From this, we can model tissue properties and reconstruct 3D pathways—called fiber tracts—that reveal how brain regions are interconnected 🧠🧬

Detailed brain scan w/ data from our Danny JJ Wang shows blood flow in a patient w/ grade IV glioblastoma. Using the 7T MRI technique, arterial spin labeling, we can see areas of uneven blood supply within the tumor. Regions w/ higher blood flow likely indicate faster-growing cancer
