Due to the possibility of additional ice or wintery mix, Little River-Windom schools will not be in session today, January 25th, 2021. Stay safe!

USD 444 will continue through the month of February with a 2 hour late start on Wednesdays. Beginning on March 3, Wednesdays will return to 1 hour late start. We appreciate all of your support and understanding to allow our staff the time to prepare for your student's success.

The January 5th HS Basketball make-up game at Herington has been rescheduled for February 11th.

Reminder: Monday, February 8th, school is IN session for all students (Pre-K-12th grade) and staff.

Due to dangerous wind chill temperatures forecasted for tomorrow morning USD 444 Little River-Windom will have a remote learning day on Tuesday, February 16th. All activities have been postponed for Tuesday.

There will be NO open gym today, Sunday, February 28th, due to a water leak at the school and the water bring shut off. Thank you for your understanding.

REMINDER: Tomorrow, March 3rd, USD 444 Little River will return to their 1 hour Late Start on Wednesdays for students. Teachers will report at 7:45 a.m.

There are still Sub-State Basketball Vouchers available at the District Office. They are for tonight's boys game at 8 p.m. and for tomorrow games - Girls at 2 p.m. and Boys at 5:00 p.m. The District Office is open until 5 p.m. GO REDSKINS!!!

Ticket information regarding Friday's Boys' Semi-final game at 7:00 PM at Dodge City will be sent out by mid morning today. A link will be provided for you to purchase tickets along with a CODE you must use to secure the allotted tickets for Little River. Stay tuned!

USD 444 Calendar Update Wednesday, May 5th, IS a Late Start day with teachers reporting at 7:45 a.m. and students beginning at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12th, will be a regular school day beginning at 8:10 a.m. and releasing at 3:35 p.m. AND is the last day for students.

WEIGHT ROOM CLOSING The weight room will be closed from Wednesday, May 5 through Sunday, May 16. The weight room will be moved to the Bus Barn. More information about Community Access will be shared once it is available. Thank you in advance for your understanding.

USD 444 Little River Enrollment for all students will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on August 19th at the respective buildings. HCC students who will need a computer will be able to check out a computer on August 18th with the time to be determined.

USD 444 Little River will have a 2 hour late start on Thursday, January 6th. AM Pre-K will not attend. PM Pre-K will attend as normal. Breakfast will not be served. Stay warm and safe!

Due to changes in practice schedule and games and no available driver, we will not be able to provide an after practice route tonight. Please make plans to pick up your son or daughter from practice at Littler River at the time determined by the coach.

Due to wildfires near the city of Burrton and the school, tonight's championship sub-state games have been postponed. More information will be coming out regarding make up location and time as soon as we can get it scheduled.
