If you watch one video today, make it this one. This gentleman explains with clarity and courtesy the impact the proposed two-way cycle lane for the A23 in Streatham and its floating bus stops will have on his life.

Cycling Czar, Will Norman, TfL and the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan would have you believe they have taken account of disabled people’s views and their designs for floating bus stops are supported by national design guidance. Neither is true. Indeed the opposite is the case.

Spot the difference! The first drawing is from the Department for Transport national guidance on bus stop bypasses. The second, a TfL drawing from the Streatham Hill scheme. We are told repeatedly that TfL schemes comply with national guidance. This is patently untrue.

Another in-depth piece: The London residents that fought back against LTNs – and won The basis of their argument: while the leafy interior streets of Dulwich are quieter, all the traffic has been pushed to the boundary roads at the edges of the LTN. telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/05/1…

If you read anything today, read this. An outstanding article on LTNs in the Guardian (which has previously backed LTNs) by one of its senior journalists who lives in Lambeth. The tide is turning! theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

The predicable consequences of Camden Council's decision to pedestrianise Camden High St around Camden Market and divert the traffic and the buses onto nearby rds. Unfashionable bus passengers lose out to the fashionable Camden Market.

UTAG applied to be an interested party in the upcoming Sefton appeal at the supreme court. UTAG wanted to protect what we won in the part8 that in London PH drivers Cannot take booking’s directly etc etc . Surprise surprise the ph parties objected and we’ve been refused

Trev (@tm1654) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I’m led to believe that Tfl have also been refused , though that’s not been officially confirmed. although our interventions have not been permitted, at least 3 of the SC judges will have read them (as they have to to determine the application),

Trev (@tm1654) 's Twitter Profile Photo

and that will be enough to ensure that they do not say anything in their judgment that would result in a weakening of the two tier system.

**Anti-Social Behaviour, Pedicabs & Nuisance Vehicles** **West End Residents and Businesses - We Need You!** Lots of work has gone in to these, but Westminster City Council has launched consultations to enact three Public Spaces Protection Orders that will enable more powers to tackle

Both UTAG & TfL applied to be an interested party, both were denied. We hope the supreme court judges have taken on board our submission on behalf of the London Taxi Trade. An update to supporters has just been sent via email. supremecourt.uk/cases/uksc-202…
