Timothy Allen, Professor of Botany 1970-2010, passed away peacefully at home on May 1. Tim was a charismatic, innovative, and popular teacher and renowned leader in the fields of hierarchy theory, systems theory, and ecological complexity. He will be missed by botany and ecology.
