Proud of the UXDM Lab’s work presented at #AMIA2024!!! Led by first author Doaa Alrefaei, with Dr. Raed Alharbi, Dr. Soussan Djamasbi, and Dr. Diane Strong, we showcased a Clinical Decision Support System using eye-tracking and ML to detect subjective pain intensity.

The paper “Chronic Pain and Eye Movements: A NeuroIS Approach to Designing Smart Clinical Decision Support Systems” received the 2023 Best Paper Award from AIS #THCI. Congratulations to Doaa Alrefaei, Dr. Soussan Djamasbi, and Dr. Diane Strong on this outstanding recognition.
