Donderdag 14 November staan wij als UYA naast onze collega’s tijdens de demonstatie tegen de bezuinigingen in het hoger onderwijs. Deze bezuinigingen bedreigen ons vermogen om innovatief te blijven en kwaliteit te leveren op het gebied van onderzoek en onderwijs (1/), #onderwijs

(2) en zullen een negatieve impact hebben de volgende generatie, die een belangrijke rol gaat spelen in toekomstige maatschappelijke uitdagingen. We vragen de overheid om deze bezuinigingen te heroverwegen en in plaats daarvan te investeren in een sterke en duurzame toekomst.

On Thursday 14 November, we at UYA will stand with our colleagues during the demonstration against the cuts in higher education. These cuts threaten our ability to remain innovative and deliver quality in research and education, and will have a negative impact (1/2)

(2/2) on the next generation, who will play an important role in future societal challenges. We ask the government to reconsider these cuts and instead invest in a strong and sustainable future for higher education. #bezuinigingen #uu #education
